I know, I know.

I know, and I'm sorry-especially since I don't update Xanga half this much, but still, I had a thought. I was trying to answer a post on another site, particularily xanga.com/greendragonrider....hold on.
LATER: I am, ohmyword, so happy. A couple years agao, (alright probably quite a few) my dear sister Jen went to Russia on a missions tripa nd when she came back, she brought all sorts of gifts. One was a beutiful Russian doll with a china head, hands and feet and a stuffed body. She had a black Russian hat and black hair, I think. Her dress was white with brown and gold I think. Another was a doll made just the same only with a brown hat. And another made the same way only I think maybe a bit taller with white hair and a red and white dress with flowers and a goldish hem. The ends of the sleeves on all the dolls had matching fur cuffs-I mean the fur matched the hat. And there were matrushkas too. She gave the matrushkas to Mom. The doll with a black hat I think she gave to Abi and the one with a brown hat to Jo, and the one with a brown hat and white hair to me. I cant remember what happened to the. Abi still had her's safe and sound on a shelf in her room, and mine and Jo's had "somehow" gotten lost. (it wasn't that uncommon for us rambunctious girls to lose something in our shared room of never ending things) But long story short I was called upstairs and Abi said, "Do you remember which was yous?" And there lay the two dolls, the one with teh white hair and the one with the brown aht. Jo didn't remember owning one, and I THOUGHT the one with the red dress was mine, but I'm not positive. So now I am happy. I have my lovely doll again, and I think her name was Natasha.
*sigh*
Anyways. My wondering: If someone truly loves thier leader (ie Tash or God or Buhda etc) and truly and sincerely belives that thiers is the way, and are not just follwing the motions of something they dont beleive in, are they considered to be following Jesus?? I'm not saying I believe this-I wonder this. Kiaya brought it up in one of her recent posts and how Emith in The Last Battle was kind of I guess really following Aslan. I mean, we have some Catholic friends who I believe sincerely and truly believe that thiers is the way and who sincerely and truly love Jesus. I know some people whom I think (although of course I dont know for sure) might just be going through the motions of a Catholic faith and maybe thier heart isnt in it and they dont really believe in it. So again, if someone truly believes and loves thier leader and think thier leader is right, are they considered followers of THE leader, by THE leader, and will they come to THE leader's Home?
God Bless,

OK, well, that's a pretty tricky question you are asking. I'm afraid I cannot ignore it. However, I want to play Socrates---this time:

- How would this work?
- How would Exodus 20:3-5 be applied?
- Would the Bible have to become optional, equal to the writings of all other leaders?
- How would differences in doctrine be worked out?
- How do you know Jesus is THE leader?
- Would we be disappointed to get to Heaven and find Buddah waiting for us instead of Jesus?
- If Buddah is THE leader, would he be willing to allow followers of Christ to join him in Nirvana based on their loyalty to Jesus and not acheiving Nirvana acording to his example and instruction?
- Has any other leader given his life for mankind, including those who reject him?
- Does any other leader offer unconditional love and guaranteed acceptance, even for those who aren't so faithful or true in their following of him?
- The Muslim faith teaches that the only way to be sure one reaches heaven is through martyrdom for the faith (aka suicide bombing). If Mohammad demands this of Muslims, would he still let me into heaven if the Leader I sincerely follow says that suicide bombing is wrong?

I don't expect you to answer all these questions, but I hope you will come up with more questions of your own!

If you do have some answers, I'd love to read them.

Keep thinking!
